Embroidery in record time: Dynamic Baumüller drive technology from the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region in embroidery machines
How can a wide variety of textiles be finished in record time? With large embroidery machines from LÄSSER AG and drive technology from the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region from Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH.
The newly developed high-performance shuttle embroidery machine MVD75 from LÄSSER AG enables the textile finishing of tulle, cotton, lurex, paper and much more. Thanks to highly dynamic drives and a robust and sophisticated design, the machine combines high production speed with unsurpassed embroidery quality. This is made possible by the drive solutions from the drive and automation specialist Baumüller.
For the manufacturer of large embroidery machines, the focus of the collaboration with Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH was on reliability and increased production. To achieve these goals, the new b maXX series and DSD2 motors were integrated into the embroidery machines. “This has increased production by 20% compared to the previous machine,” explains Reto Spirig, Head of Control Technology Development at LÄSSER AG.
Increased productivity through dynamic DSD2 servo motors
The DSD2 motors are suitable for highly dynamic applications with the highest acceleration capacity requirements, and the best start-stop qualities. This motor series covers a nominal speed range from 1000 to 6000 min-1. The DSD2 motors are highly dynamic, their speed and position are very easily controlled.
